Join our 2024 Vendor Fair!
On Wednesday, May 8th, 2024, MAETL will be returning to Gimli, Manitoba’s Lakeview Resort & Conference Centre for our Annual General Meeting. As has been the practice at past AGMs, MAETL is planning to include a Vendor Fair as part of our AGM. This is a unique opportunity for vendors to meet and network with the key contact people and technology decision-makers from Manitoba school divisions and to present their products and services in a casual and comfortable evening setting.
MAETL Executive is extending an invitation to many of the vendors and service providers with whom the various Manitoba school divisions presently do business to participate in our Vendor Fair at the AGM. We do have a limited amount of space at the Gimli Conference Centre and, unfortunately, have to limit participation to 20 vendors. Acceptance to participate in our Vendor Fair will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
When: Wednesday, May 8th, 2024
Where: Lakeview Resort and Conference Centre - Gimli, Manitoba
Who: MAETL Members including IT Directors, Curriculum Consultants and Technical Staff
Cost:
$750: Single exhibit table - no breakout session
$1000: Single exhibit table - with 40min breakout session
$1500: Double exhibit table - includes 40min breakout session
*As space is limited, we ask that no vendor attend with more than 2 representatives. We are able to accommodate a limited number of double tables for vendors who may require additional display space and/or wish to attend with up to 4 representatives.
Schedule for Wednesday, May 8th
Vendor Exhibit Setup: Any time after 10:00am
Vendor Presentations: 1:00pm to 4:10pm
Vendor Fair: 5:30pm to 9:00pm
Light dinner to be served at 5:30pm
Door Prize draws to begin at 8:45pm
The format of our Vendor Fair is similar to that of typical conference exhibit halls where each vendor will have a designated space to display their products and meet with attendees. There will be a cash bar open during the event and a “grab-n-go” style meal will be served at the start of the event.
In addition to our evening Vendor Fair, we are also planning for a series of breakout sessions in the afternoon to allow time for vendors to speak to their products and services. Given that the feedback from vendors has been very positive regarding the inclusion of the afternoon sessions, we plan to continue to offer breakout vendor presentations throughout the afternoon again this year.
The tentative schedule for the afternoon is as follows:
Session 1 1:00pm to 1:40pm - 4 or 5 vendor breakout sessions for MAETL Members to choose from
Session 2 1:50pm to 2:30pm - 4 or 5 vendor breakout sessions for MAETL Members to choose from
Session 3 2:40pm to 3:20pm - 4 or 5 vendor breakout sessions for MAETL Members to choose from
Session 4 3:30pm to 4:10pm - 4 or 5 vendor breakout sessions for MAETL Members to choose from If you are interested in offering an afternoon presentation, please be sure to indicate your intention on your online registration.
